FlexPal

Who is this product for?

FlexPal is intended for Flex Developers. An understanding of how to create a Flex application, and rudimentary Actionscript 3.0, and MXML coding skills are assumed. This product will not work in Flash. We explain clearly how to implement this product in the documentation.

What Software do I need to use FlexPal?

Flex Builder 2.0+ and Flash Player 9,0,115,0 are recommended. Your target audience will also need a current version of Flash Player 9 installed.

Is this a drag-and-drop component?

No. At this point FlexPal components are not drag-and-drop. However, they each can be instantiated easily with one line of MXML code, just as other Flex components can. How to do this is explained clearly in the documentation.

Does FlexPal support custom PayPal variables (i.e. item color, size .etc)?

No. At this time FlexPal does not directly support sending custom variables to PayPal. However,you can differentiate your products by size, color, .etc in other ways. We offer a solution to this limitation in the documentation.

Do I have access to the source code, and can I modify it to suit my needs?

Yes, we allow you to view and modify the source code to suit your particular needs, although you must agree to our terms of agreement before purchase, and we are not responsible for the functioning or reliability of modified code.

Are you affiliated with PayPal?

No. We are not affiliated with PayPal or Adobe in any way. Also we cannot be responsible for any violations of PayPal's terms of agreement. Before deploying an application which uses this product, please read PayPal's terms.

Do I get free upgrades of FlexPal?

Yes. We appreciate our customers, and believe that when you purchase software, you shouldn't have to re-purchase it when it is upgraded. We will email existing customers when upgrades become available, with a download link.

Do you guarantee the accuracy and security of data using FlexPal?

Unfortunately, to cover our butts, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or security of data within FlexPal.

Does FlexPal conform to PayPal's terms of agreement?

Again, as far as we know, FlexPal does not violate any of PayPal's terms, however, we strongly urge you to read through PayPal's terms before deploying ANY PayPal store, and cannot be responsible for any violations as a result of our product.
